Ping K15

The K15 driver from Ping is the company’s latest game improvement stick aimed at the mid to high handicapper. A 460cc head, maximum MOI, ultra thin crown, and Straight Flight Technology. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a golf club minus the adjustable face tech in a few others. Ping’s technology on this club is designed to help golfers square the club face at impact and generate a high launch, low spin tee ball.

Reviewer Notes:

Ian – Very pleasantly surprised at how well this club performed and how much I liked it. It has an unusual feel at impact for me where I had a tough time telling what part of the face I had hit it on. That being said I would look at the launch monitor and see the ball rocketing down the center of my virtual fairway past 260 yards. It was a club the numbers said I hit very well and I never felt like I really ‘got’ one. It feels really good throughout the entire swing and I felt like I was in a perfect position with it an impact. I haven’t had a Ping driver in my bag since I was in high school but offerings like this could change that quickly.

Jason – Solid stick with very consistent results. Looked good at address with a large club face that gave me confidence. Very forgiving and with the right shaft I’m sure my distance would have been better.
