For 11 years the JC Invitational Golf Scramble has been organized as an opportunity to golf with friends, network and support various non-profit organizations (Crohn’s & Colitis, Susan G Komen, Gray Matters Foundation) to name a few we have supported.

For the 2nd year in a row, the tournament is partnering with the Circle of Hope Guild to help in their efforts to raise awareness about Seattle Children’s Hospital uncompensated care program. We are very excited to be partnering with the guild again this year and very appreciative of your continued support!

In January 2010 a group of professionals and friends formed a Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild, Circle of Hope, a 501c3 benefiting the uncompensated care program. Our guild includes men and women with broad professions and diverse backgrounds – from Project Managers to stay-at-home moms. A former patient, still grateful to Children’s for his life, is another member of our guild now giving back. His story is posted to our Hope in Action page.

In 2011, Seattle Children’s Hospital provided over $103 million in uncompensated care to families in our region, thanks to generous donors like you. Please give. Every bit of money we raise benefits someone. This generosity enables Seattle Children’s to provide expert, compassionate care to every child in our region who needs it — regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Last year, this tournament raised $6,000 for the uncompensated care program! Please help us beat this in 2012.

Leaving Kingston: Assuming we play 5+ hour tournament round and a 1pm shot-gun start leaving Kingston the ferry schedule is as follows: 7:00pm, 7:45pm, 8:25pm, 9:10pm, 10pm, 11pm and 12:25am. Fares: Vehicle (under 20’) & Driver: $15.20 Passenger (in vehicle or walk-on): $7.10 Do I need to make a reservation for the free golf shuttle that picks up golfers at the Kingston ferry dock? We will have pre-scheduled free shuttle pick-ups on the Kingston side for those of you who would like to park on the Edmonds side and walk on the ferry for the following ferry departures: 9:40am, 10:30am or the 11:10am.
